Here’s a quick game to jump-start your vibration this week!

Monday Pick Me Up

Answer the following questions:

1. What is one thing you can do today to take tender loving care of yourself?

2. What are three things you don’t want to change about yourself?

3. Can you learn to say “Yes” to the present moment in whatever form it’s showing up right now while at the same time saying “Yes” to your desire for things to change?

4. What do you want this week to FEEL like? (not look like, but feel like).

5. What is something you can do this week just for fun? Completely and utterly just for the fun of it?

6. Can you get quiet for fifteen minutes today and just listen to the sounds around you, follow your breath, and relax? Can you make friends with the present moment?

7. Give yourself a heartfelt hug. Right now. Just do it. Then say, “I love you, (your name).” Do it right now. You’ll feel better.

8. What is one great thing you have in your life right now that at one time was just a desire? Say “Thank You, Universe!”

9. What makes you smile every time you think about it?

10. What is your happiest memory? Go there in your mind right now, and bring back the emotion with you. Hold the note of those happy feelings.

Have a great week!

Short Visualizations Before You Get Out Of Bed

Short Visualizations Before You Get out of Bed In The Morning/ Law of Attraction In Action

This morning when I woke up, I was following the guidance from The Sorcerer’s Code not to get out of bed right away, but while in that dreamy connected state, to gently plant my intentions and talk to my Spirit Guide. I used the process from week three of The Sorcerer’s Code of opening to my Spirit Guide and then telling him/her my intentions and listening for any guidance.

The guidance I received was pretty instantaneous and so obvious I almost laughed. It’s really Abraham Hicks 101, but it’s so fundamental to manifesting, I think it can be easily overlooked:

My Guide (Angela) said to me: “Most all human beings have become addicted to thinking about what they don’t want. It’s like a default setting on their brains. It takes conscious effort not only to keep asking yourself what you want, but focusing there long enough to feel excited and good about it.”

I then asked my Guide, “Why is it that so many people feel unhappy when they think about their wants?” She said, “Because the second they let themselves want it, the very next thing they think is ‘There’s no way I’ll ever get that.’ and the wanting immediately turns into a don’t want and an uncomfortable feeling.”

I asked her what is something we can do to focus on the want without letting in the “I don’t believe I’ll ever have it” thought to follow.

She reminded me of an old Abraham Hicks Process that works wonderfully for this. The Virtual Reality Game that can be found in their wonderful book, Ask and It Is Given. Angela said, “Abraham says to focus on the images of having the desire for only a few seconds and then stop thinking about it.”

Abe says, “Get in and get out.” Because if you stay in the visualization, you disbelief energy starts to enter this Law of Attraction game.

So I tried it. (I was still in bed and still sleepy when I did this. Angela says this really helps.) I visualized my movie going really well for about 15 seconds, then I stopped thinking about it. I visualized myself in my new dream home for about 15 seconds and then I stopped visualizing that. I did it with all my current desires and by the time I got out of bed, I was SO happy because I ended up focusing on my desires for about ten minutes that were uninterrupted by limited beliefs! It was awesome.

And the coolest part was that I was feeling it real for its own sake, starting my day happy. Which as we are reminded over and over again, that is the whole point of Feeling it Real! To FEEL REAL JOY! Then, the manifestations just come.

Observing My Resistance

August 13, 2008 on 1:14 pm | In Law Of Attraction At Work | No Comments

Observing My Resistance without trying to release it, helped me to let it go!

Today I had an amazing insight I wanted to share with you all. I was practicing a form of breath meditation where I neutrally observe my breath, my body sensations, my emotions, and my thoughts without trying to change any of it. This meditation always sends me into a beautiful state of allowing and nonresistance.

But then I tried an experiment (thanks to what Angela teaches in The Sorcerer’s Code). I decided to listen to a magnetizer right after my meditation. (They were both on my ipod which helped).

Anyway, the results were astounding. I could actually feel certain words and phrases in the magnetizer that put my body into resistance because I didn’t believe it would manifest. I felt myself tightening up with disbelief.

But, what I did next was powerful. I just decided to observe the resistance in my body and in my emotions and thoughts without trying to feel better or more positive, etc. I just observed the resistance to my desire with complete fascination and neutrality.

And as I did that, the most amazing thing happened. I literally felt the resistance melting away. Just melting. Because I wasn’t trying to “get rid of it” or “fix it”. I just made it PART OF MY MEDITATION!

Then, my visualizing got deeper. I could see the dress I was wearing was light blue and had beading on it. I had a white cashmere shawl. I could see the faces of the other people celebrating so vividly. It was the most clear visualization I have ever had and I am sure this happened because I turned my resistance that came up during the magnetizer into a meditation. I meditated on the resistance instead of pushing it away.

I highly recommend those of you who have magnetizers try doing a mind quieting meditation for fifteen minutes or so before your magnetizer. And during your magnetizer if you feel resistance come up in the form of body tension, negative emotion, or negative thoughts, rather than trying to push them away, observe them. Notice them. Where is your body tense? Just let it be tense and become fascinated by it.

If you feel doubt, instead of pushing the doubt away, observe it. Notice it. How does doubt show up in your body?  As  you do this, you will notice that you are literally not resisting your resistance which eliminates it.

It’s so powerful to do this WHILE we’re visualizing, because that is when our resistance comes to the surface to be released.

Have You Stopped To Notice Today…?

August 11, 2008 on 12:53 pm | In Law Of Attraction At Work, The World Around You | No Comments

Have you stopped to Notice Today…?

When we take the time to notice the beauty and miraculous nature of the life that is right in front of us, we begin project a frequency of abundance onto our outer reality, thus pulling in “more than enough” via the Law of Attraction.

Sometimes noticing the simplest of things can shift our frequency drastically.

Ask yourselves the following questions.

Are you noticing  all the various intricate patterns and colors of flowers?

Are you noticing the light in the trees?

That somehow the percussion of your heart beats in perfect rhythm all on its own?

That you have access to plenty of food from all different parts of the world right in the town where you live?

That there’s someone out there who really loves you. Think of them. Yep. They love you.

Are you noticing the birds chirping and how they sound like they’re enjoying their own song?

Are you noticing how warm the sun feels on your skin?

Do you notice when people are laughing? Are you noticing how your own laughter makes your body smile?

Have you noticed that this tiny earth is spinning by itself in a sea of massive space, somehow creating the perfect environment for you to have life today?

Have you noticed…?

Get Into A Receptive Mode Today

August 7, 2008 on 10:58 am | In Law Of Attraction At Work | No Comments

Hi Bright Lights!

The way we let in our desires is to get into the receptive mode of our being. When we constantly stay in wanting, wanting, wanting, we push our desires away. When we feel like we have them already (receiving), we draw them to us.

Here’s a quick game to play today to see if you are in receiving mode or if you are stuck in wanting.

Answer the following questions.

1. Do I feel a deep inner peace and warm glow wash over me when I think of my desire?

(Yes, means you’re in receiving mode. No means you’re still in the wanting mode.)

2. Do I feel like I’m constantly checking on the conditions to see if “it’s here yet”?

(Yes, means you’re in wanting mode. No means you’re in receiving mode.)

3. Do I feel receptive to my Inner Spirit’s promptings? Am I listening for guidance from a quiet mind?

(Yes, means you’re in receiving mode. No means you’re still in wanting.)

4. Am I really and truly familiar with the feelings of having my desire already? Could I call up those feelings in a heartbeat?

(Yes, means I’m in receiving mode. No means I’m still in wanting.)

5. Do I let my hair down and make time for fun, trusting the Divine Source within me to Do the “heavy lifting” of manifesting my desire?

(Yes, means I’m in receiving mode. No means I’m still in Wanting.)

One of the most important things that Angela discusses in The Sorcerer’s Code is that we are radiating realities from our Own Awareness of our God Nature, our intentions, and our sense of havingness or receptiveness. These three aspects create a modern trinity of creation. Receptivity is a crucial aspect to manifesting.

Be open to receive. Get into a receptive mode today and watch how much easier life becomes!

The Blessed Game

July 30, 2008 on 7:38 pm | In Law Of Attraction At Work | 1 Comment

Hello Bright Lights!

Here’s a new game I came up with today. I was meditating and asking my Spirit: What is the predominant feeling one feels when their biggest desires manifest? I got an instant answer.

We feel blessed.

So if feeling blessed is the emotional frequency most associated with manifesting, then I want to get us all feeling blessed on a consistent basis!

Here’s how the blessed game works.

Just answer the following questions.

Ready?

1. What has been the biggest blessing in my life so far?
2. What is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me?
3. Who makes me feel the most loved in my life?
4. What is something that I’ve manifested that flowed easily and effortlessly into my life?
5. What is the most wonderful gift anyone has ever given me?
6. What is something I have that makes my life happier every single day?
7. Who in my life has believed in my dreams and supported those dreams?
8. Who in my life has given me love and support and assistance just because they cared?
9. Spending time in what part of nature (ocean, desert, mountains, forests, rivers, gardens) makes me feel connected to all of life?
10. What’s something that is free for me to use every day that blesses my life?

Now that you’re feeling blessed, see if you can hold that feeling tone for sixteen seconds straight.

This feeling of being blessed attracts more blessings.

For Busy Working Moms: Create More Time Using The Law Of Attraction

July 29, 2008 on 6:28 pm | In Health And Body, Law Of Attraction At Work | 2 Comments

There is a real need right now in America for people to slow down. Especially working mothers. Stress is a proven killer and spending no time on self care can create depression and anxiety. When we constantly focus on what we don’t want, we begin to attract more of that into our lives.

The one thing busy mothers feel a lack of is time. The ironic thing about time is that the more hurried we feel, the less free time we seem to attract into our lives and the less efficient with time we become. It’s not about having more time. It’s about making more time for yourself in order to be a happier person, a more relaxed and attentive parent, and have a healthier body.

Here are three tips for helping busy mothers to take more time for themselves:

1. Decide to Slow Down Your Movements
It’s been proven by scientists that the more slowly we move, the more calm our brains become. Our bodies physically get stressed when we are running around like chickens with our heads cut off. You’ll still get everything done that you need to do, but if you deliberately walk, move, even eat more slowly, you’ll create a sense of relaxation while on the go. When you send out a signal to the Universe that you have all the time in the world, you literally attract more time for yourself. Time contracts and expands depending on our focus. Move slowly and you’ll attract more leisure into your life!

2. Take Fifteen Minutes Every Morning (Before The Kids Get Up) To Meditate
When our lives are overly busy, it usually means our minds are scattered. Our external reality is always reflecting back what’s happening internally. When we take fifteen minutes in the morning to meditate, we are accessing a part of our mind that has more creative solutions and we are rewiring our nervous system to remain calm throughout the rest of the day.

3. Take Time to “Fill Your Fun Tank”
When people feel a lack of time, they stop scheduling fun into their lives. But this is the last thing they should do! Having fun helps us to relax and refuel. Consider your levels of fun like a gas tank. When the tank is empty, we become depressed and irritable. Even animals play in order to relieve stress. So schedule even fifteen minutes of fun into your busy day. Blow some bubbles, take a bath with a glass of wine, or watch a funny movie. Having fun will relax you and make you more fun to be around!

The Art Of Giving Up

July 28, 2008 on 1:48 pm | In Law Of Attraction At Work | No Comments

It sounds paradoxical, but sometimes giving up is the most creative and powerful thing we can do when it comes to manifesting our desires. This is because when we use a lot of effort or strain with visualizing or feeling it real with The Law of Attraction, we can actually send off a stressed out needy vibration that pushes our desires even further away from us. A lot of effort is often the result of a lot of need or attachment. The ideas we come up with from that place are often fear based ideas. We take frantic actions based on our lackful vibrations and end up farther away from our desires than when we started. In my latest program, “The Sorcerer’s Code” my Spirit Guide, Angela, talks about how the best creating happens with no effort.

When we learn to give up our need to control or fix our circumstances, a softening or release of resistance can instantly be felt in our bodies and our minds. When we give up and decide we don’t have the answers with our conscious thinking mind, it’s like we develop a more open mind or, what Zen Buddhists like to call, “The Beginner’s Mind” that is open to all possibilities (which includes the voice of our Inspired Selves).

Also, when you think of the term: “I give up.” You can think about the word “up” used literally, “I give UP to the Power of The  Universe Within me.” I give it UP to you, Inner Being. I give it it UP to my Higher Self.  You are making the definitive act of GIVING it to your Higher Consciousness when you think about giving it up.

So if there’s a desire you’ve had in your life for a long time, maybe you’re feeling stuck on a certain subject, try the Art of Giving it Up to your Higher Self and then let go and relax. You may be surprised to find answers, solutions, inner guidance, and a great sense of relief, which is always a sign that your vibration is lifting.

Letting Go Into Wealth

July 22, 2008 on 11:14 pm | In Law Of Attraction At Work | 3 Comments

Most people working with the Law of Attraction think they have to “build” their wealth through imagery and positive thoughts. But the truth about wealth and abundance is that it is your NATURAL state to be wealthy.

So instead of thinking how you are going to “summon” wealth or “build” wealth, think instead about how you’re going to let go into wealth or release into wealth.

Look around you.

This Universe is made up of nothing but abundance. Trees, flowers, oceans, planets, stars, galaxies. All that exists is abundance. If you can imagine that you are letting this abundance infiltrate your being. That you are letting it flow into your world instead of you having to cause anything to happen, this will make you an irresistible force to money.

Being wealthy is like un-kinking your garden hose so that the water can flow rather than trying to create water. Being wealthy is like breathing the oxygen that is all around you instead of having to work hard to “invent” air.

You are abundance and you are swimming in a sea of abundance. It’s only your limiting thoughts that hold the wealth from you. Being wealthy is the most natural thing in the Universe.

All you have to do is let go and let it in.

Three Tips To Bring The Romance Back Into Your Relationships

July 17, 2008 on 7:18 pm | In Law Of Attraction At Work | No Comments

Here are three tips for using the Law of Attraction to breathe passion back into your romantic relationships:

1. Become a “praise-o-holic”

After the honeymoon phase, most couples tend to notice every little thing that’s wrong with their partner. It’s mostly just a bad mental habit. But it can completely drain a relationship of its joy and passion and can be the real culprit behind divorce. The good thing about habits is that we can replace negative habits with positive ones.

The best thing you can do to spice up your love life is to acquire the habit of praising your partner often. If you need help remembering, you can pick a certain time each day to sit down with your partner and tell them all the ways they improve your life and all the things you love and admire about them. Doing this for just ten minutes a day will give your relationship a huge boost in positivity and electrify the romance between you.

2. Create an “I Love You Journal”

Every day for thirty days, write twenty things you adore about your partner in your “I Love You Journal”. This will create a new mental habit of you looking for things you love about your partner and, by the Law of Attraction, you’ll attract your partner doing more things you love! If you really want to lift your vibrations, read your “I love you journal” to your partner. You’ll make their day. They may even make an “I Love You Journal” for you.

3. Take Three Minutes Every Day to Visualize The Two of You In Love

On my website, I have a have a visualization called “The Happy Couple Magnetizer” that walks you through the process of visualizing the two of you madly in love just like newlyweds on your honeymoon. Visualization is an incredibly powerful tool to attract romance back into your life. If you take three minutes each day to close your eyes and visualize the two of you on a romantic vacation together, communicating wonderfully, laughing, holding hands, flirting, etc. you will begin to attract more happiness and joy in your love life via the Law of Attraction. The short little visualization I teach  has even saved some marriages. So don’t underestimate the power of visualizing!

Remember, like attracts like. When you send out a signal of constantly judging your partner, you usually attract them behaving in ways that don’t please you and you’ll have less happiness together.

But if you can imagine the two of you head over heels and really get into the emotions of that, you can actually trigger your body to release those “in love” hormones once again and breathe life and joy and passion back into your love life.

Denise
